Anurager Chowa Story

Deepa, a sweet and dusky young lady, is mistreated by her stepmother and her more attractive stepsister, Urmi. Urmi vows to exact revenge when Surjo, a doctor from a wealthy family, chooses to marry Deepa rather than her. As Surjo’s mother rejects a dark-skinned girl as her daughter-in-law, Deepa’s life becomes more difficult. The serial emphasizes the value of good character traits over outward beauty.
