She is an Indian television actress who belongs to the Bengali industry. Before stepping into acting she was a professional model. Acting Life
Susmita Dey made her television debut in 2012 with Bodhu Kon Alo Laaglo Chokhe in the supporting role of Mishtu. Next year in 2013 she played another supporting role in the Zee Bangla show Raage Anurage. Then in 2015, she played in the Bengali film ‘Bonolota’. In 2016, again played a supporting role in the Star Jalsha show Agnijal. One year later she played a role in the Bengali film Khoj.
Then in 2020, she played the lead actress in the Zee Bangla show Aparajita Apu. The show almost airs one year and four months with a total of 428 episodes. After the show ends in March 2022. In May 2022, She got another lead role from Star Jalsha in the show Bouma Ekghor. But unfortunately, the show airs for only three months and due to TRP drops channel has to end the show. In the same year at the end of 2022, she got another lead role in the show Panchomi from Star Jalsha.
